about Chef Jazzy
Jamaican chef & multimedia artist, Jazzy Harvey is a multi-threat. Born the middle of three girls to a Jamaican mother and Black and Native father in South Central Los Angeles, Jazzy’s self-taught journey into the culinary world is anything but of the ordinary. At the beginning of quarantine in LA, Jazzy started Anjahles Jamaican X LA Fusion, a Caribbean plant-based food pop-up to create extra income. Starting with $10 jerk plates at a park near her home, business exploded and Anjahles landed in the LA Times & Infatuation “The Best Pop-Ups in LA Right Now”. Soon after, Chef Jazzy appeared on a number of competition shows and became a finalist on Food Network’s “It’s Compliplated”. Today, Anjahles retains an impressive rolodex of clients including: Spotify, Reddit, Roku, Playboy and a number of A-list celebrities & athletes. When not private cheffing or catering to LA’s popular crowd or hosting popups, Jazzy loves to explore the future of hospitality. Very new to the game, but a force to be reckoned with & a deep understanding of how people are linked across all channels, Jazzy strives to channel authentic lived experiences through storytelling. Anjahles is just one of those stories.
